No Service

okay, so my V3i worked perfectly until one night I made a call. After the call i closed my phone like normal & I noticed that I didnt have service. Since that night I randomly get service with the phone. Help! Cingular cant do anything, because well...they cant. Motorola said that my warranty is only valid in a country that sells the phone & that its a software problem causing my phone to not recieve service.
Help..please..
