Displaying phone number on power up

I have access to about 5 - V551s. Mine (which originally came with the R47_G_08.17.OER flash and was later upgraded by Rogers to R472_G_08.18.35R) displays the SIM phone number and name at startup and of the other ones do not, however these all came with R472_G_08.18.35R from factory.
The only thing I can remember being able to do with the 08.17.OER flash that I cannot do with the newer flash is to be able to edit the name on the SIM via "My Telephone Numbers". But I can get around this by programming the name on an older phone that still allows this.
Is there a SEEM that enables the display of this at startup?
Thanks,
turbo

SEEM 0126_0001
**all offsets are HEX**
offset 00 - bit 7: Display My Phone Number at Power On (0 fix enabled, 1 fix not enabled) (offset 04 MUST Be Set - Fix for S/W >38R)
offset 04 - bit 5: Display My Phone Number at Power On (1 fix enabled, 0 fix not enabled) (offset 00 MUST Be Set - Fix for S/W >38R)

Thanks, I was looking throught xlr8's SEEM map myself and saw the items on SEEM 0126, as well as some items on SEEM 0032 offset 48 bit 1.
SEEM 0126 -> does not exist on the V551 (at least it did not appear in my backup file)
SEEM 0032 offest 48, bit 1 is "on" on all the phones mentioned, yet mine displays the number, the others don't.
Another question... regarding the ability to modify the name on "My Mobile Numbers", a feature I had with the original flash, but got disabled with the new flash. I saw the item on the SEEM map inidicating something about this on SEEM 0032 offset 36 bit 2. When comparing this SEEM backups from the original flash to the new one the bit value was the same, however bit 4 (purpose unknown) was off on the new flash, and enabled on the old flash.
That is pretty much all the info I have so far. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
turbo

i'm not sure what to tell you. rereading my prior post , those seem edits appear to be for s/w versions later than 38. i checked my wifes v551- she has R472_G_08.18.40R right from cingular - she has 0032_0001, offset 36, bit 2 checked and offset 48 bit 1 unchecked. there is a seem 0126_0001 - hers has offset 00 - bits 2,3,6,7 checked. offset 04 - bits 1,2,3,6 checked.
her phone displays the number on startup.

it also depends IF your mobile number IS stored on the sim card, ive seen so many people try to mod their phone like crazy to display the number at startup, and get frustrated as to why it doesnt work, them they realize the field is blank and they fill it in and store it, and bam, it works...

Paolo,
Thanks for the tip. I know it is stored on my SIM and I have tried my SIM on the other 5 phones and none of them display the number on power up. Mine does, and I the only SEEM edit I have ever done to my phone has been to put the moto logo on the external display rather than having the Rogers text.
Thanks,
turbo
