vzw V3M - changing the theme?

Okay, this is probably stupid but how can I change the theme on the Razr v3m for Verizon Wireless?
I went in under settings and tools, display, display themes, and changed it to "blue" but I still have a red bar near the top where it gives you signal strength and battery life and at the bottom where the OK button shows up.

Themes subtely change the background when you are dialing a number, they also change the colors of the menu titles in the menu screen. They unfortunately don't change the red bars.

so no hope of changing that then? Thats a little inconvienent.
