Call Waiting doesn't work.

I have a v3i with itunes and my call waiting DOESN'T work. When I go to settings>in-call settings>call waiting, it wouldn't allow me to turn on call waiting, it says that it's "couldn't process request" or something like that. What gives?

have u tried it with a DIFFERENT gsm phone? perhaps a cingular branded handset? if it still does it, then its a network or account problem and NOT the phone.

i had this issue with a d500 i was using a while back. all i did was call my provider (tmobile) and ask them about it. they turned it on for me, after what seemed to be forever, and problem was solved. try calling your provider, with much luck you could be using call waiting in no time.
