Got a water damaged V551 for free. Scrren is good. Phone turns on for about 2 minutes, then enters a constant reboot cycle or goes to a black screen with the keypad lit. The screen and flex cable work perfectly on my V300 motherboard, as does the camera (outer LCD doesn't I think...), so the problem is mostly in the V551 board. I tried putting it in an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner, and that brought it up to the 2 minutes from about 30 seconds it was before...

Any ideas? Try the jewellery cleaner again?

maybe try waiting till it drys out completely.

I stuck it on top of my monitor in direct sunlight for a few hours. It was pretty hot afterwards. It's since been sitting on my desk drying for a week.
