Free WAP on V3c with .04 software? Mobile Web

I had the free WAP enabled on my v3c with .02 installed, and just recently upgraded to .04 to check it out. Now I can't get the free internet to work, it just keeps telling me to call *611 for wireless internet. Am I going to have to go back to .02 to get that back?

Can anyone confirm that free WAP works with GATW_01.15.04?

of course it does.

Can you access Get It Now? If not, then data isn't working on your phone/account - call 611 and tell them.

yes i had this same problem. i couldn't access get it now under ev-do which is a faster transfer rate than the 1xx which is jsut a D instead of an EV on the top left hand corner of your phone's screen. they shut it off by accident when i canceled txt msging so i had to call them back to reactivate it. If you want to have the web much slower but working then go to the secret meu #073887* and turn test mode on. from there press clr and the top left button above the camera button. that will let you access test mode now press the top left or right hand buttons to scroll to where a bucnh of settings come up. change the hdr pref to cdma so it will stay ont he 1xx data rate.

Yea, I got it working as Humpa assured it would. I must have typed something incorrectly on the phone, but being familiar with Verizon's way of doing business, I assumed the worst. By the way, the HTTP proxy free WAP is wonderful.
