Verizon LG VX4400 BitPim wallpaper, ringtone problems... PLEASE HELP!

I bought a USB cable for my Verizon LG VX4400. I downloaded the USB driver and BitPim so I could transfer wallpapers and ringtones from my computer to my cell phone. When I run BitPim, it recognizes the phone, but it will only access certain features. I can pull phonebook and call information from my phone to BitPim, but I can't pull wallpapers or ringtones from my phone to BitPim. When I create wallpapers, I get an error message when I try to transfer them to my phone. When I looked on my cellphone, I saw the names of the two wallpapers I created, but they are blank on my phone, no image. What am I doing wrong? you need to add a directory named 'shared' under the brew directroy under the filesystem to add wallpapers. for images and ringtones, i'm still searching

got it, make a directory 'user' under the root directory, then a 'sound' directory in the user, and a 'ringer' directory in that. you should be able to then upload sounds and ringtones :-)
