I bought it, tried to use QPST but for some reason I still cannot get my laptop to be able to read that my phone is connected. I installed the drivers that were provided on the CD that I had bought on Ebay, but still nothing worked. Someone please explain why this would be happening...

When you plug it in does it say it's found new hardware?

Also try this driver file. Its direct from the Lg website

Have you went into the device manager and looked under modems to verify your LG is being detected and working properly.

I just installed the same software on my 8000 and its working perfectly. Although I am using a desktop.

I am sure you are aware of all the crap we have to deal with since were using internal memory and can only handle so many mp3's, etc.

I did download that cool pro 2.1 program to adjust my mp3's to 64kbps. It changes the file size dramatically. like from 7meg to 2 meg and the quality is still excellent.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Colby~
