does anyone have issues when charging there phone? sometimes mine resets or keeps reseting and sometimes it says unable to charge

I had a VZW E815 for about a year and never had that sort of problem.

Well sometime i get the unable to charge you have to have the charger in there just right also you might want to get ur phone flashed to a newer firmware or return it if you can.

I have to put the carger juuust fight into my phone, or it doesnt work. I have to push something agianst it to make it stay in right, or it wont charge.

I have the same sorts of problems. sometimes I mess with the thing for 20 minutes to get it to charge. The plug for the phone stinks. Sometimes the thing just goes blank, sometimes it will freeze and the only way to get it back is remove the battery. I like the phone the the charger is the pits, including the car charger. Is this a common problem or an isolated problem. I have had mine about 6 months and I would return it if I thought a new phone would be better.

Moto's charge jack on these older phones really sucks. It's not very strong, and if you use the phone while charging with a coil corded mobile charger, your just looking for trouble. What happens is the solder joints crack inside the phone on the 3 charging contacts. In severe cases the whole jack housing is cracked loose from the board. If you find that you have to hold the charge plug "just right" to make it work, you've probibly got broken (or just dirty) charge contacts.
