I enabled usb/BT transfers on my verizon V3M. But the tutorial for getting the MMS to work in MPT hasn't helped me.

I followed Mark's page , but came up empty.
For the #1 option, V3CM or V3MM never appeared in the manual install list for MPT.
I did not try #2.
And for #3, in the detect.inf file I changed the V3c entry to:

When I chose V3c in MPT, I got an error that said something like Phone not found in modems.pac. I tried to look at modems.pac, but it was a binary file. I'm 99% sure I updated MPT to its latest version.

Any ideas what to try next?

just for poops and giggles check again to see if you fully updated on MPT to 4.2.1a also try the mobile device update in the help tab of MPT. there is also a mtpfix a drivertool and Motorola_Software_Update_01.03.00_Production. i know my sisters verizon v3m needed them all.
