there is software bundled with the GD87 but i didnt get any with my handset which is on orange.
Anyone know what it is and where I could get it?

Can you be more specific? GPRS assistant is on the panasonicmobile website. Just download the GD95 drivers, it works just fine. IN fact I am using it right now. The tool to load phonebooks, schedule and ringtones, pictures is located at www.nicobox.net. What else would you be refering to?
