If you mean wallpapers and NOT themes then do this..
Save these to your computer. Connect your phone to your computer using bluetooth or vis the usb cable, either file transfer or phone mode will work when prompted on your phone.

I use file transfer mode (for music and pics/wallpapers etc.) and drag the pics into the pictures folder of either my cell phone memory or the memory card itself.

No I didn't make them. I'm just never satisfied with my wallpaper on my phone so I do alot of searching and come up with some good stuff from time to time. Those were worth sharing...

how do you all get these on your phone? i have tried an uploader but it doesn't work. wallpapers and screensavers can be downloaded that way but they come out messed up, usually with only 2 colors. and not animated in the case of GIFs. are you using the cable and hooking up to your computers? i heard there was something going on with the cingular proxy server that was compressing and screwing up these things when you send them through an uploader.

Save the images to your computer then copy them to your memory card via a card reader, or bluetooth them over from your PC, or use the data cable.

What can i use to extract an animated gif from an existing SE theme? I'm using se theme creator and can replace the image but i want to extract an image from a theme and use it on another.. anyone point me in the right direction?

All the files for the the theme are held in the .thm file. This is really just an archive file with a theme file extension. In Windows XP if you right click on the .thm file you can just click "extract files", and then you get a folder with all the images along with the xml file that controls everything. For other OSes you might need a program such as winrar to extract the files.

Yeah, what'd be really cool is if there was a way to make one of the Sydney NYE fireworks, maybe the ones off the "coathanger". A friend of mine works for foti's.

You might be able to do it for yourself. See if you can find an online gif editor (I use Gifworks Tools for simple stuff but I don't think it'll do animation effects - you might find a site that specifically animates phone walls) or a downloadable free ap that'll do what you want. Just google around, you might surprise yourself.

I have a Motorola Razr v3. I saved the animated wallpapers to my pc, I sent them to my Razr via USB cable and motorola phone tools. When I set the picture as my wallpaper it doesn't animate. It will only animate as a screen saver. Am I doing something wrong??
