What should I have paid for my Treo 700p (NE2)?

I bought a Treo 700p at a corporate store. I was eligible for NE2 and paid $399. I know that's the online price with the online discount. I called and asked if it would have cost $299 if I had ordered online, and was told no, I couldn't do better than $399? Is that true? I'm still within my 15 day return period ...

Well, for every person that says something on HoFo there is another person that says the opposite. However, it has been said that you can't mix a data discount and ne2 discount. The lowest price in store/online assumes new contract OR upgrade/renewal with the data discount already factored in to the discount.
