operator logo v220

when i disable my operators logo on my v220 it disables my 4way joystick button editing ability. it changes it to volume for the left and right and phonebook for the up and down. it cant be unbinded or modded. is there another way other than seem editing 0032 bit modify 4b bit 6 to get the same results with out disabling my keys? or is this just a downfall for removing the operators logo.
