is using the speakerphone. because i cannot hear from whatdoyoucallit? the earpiece.not the speakerphone, but the normal thing. is there a way that i could like check if i did something wrong with my phone. like i dunno. sound preferences. because it was working fine. then that's it.

I havn't heard about it happening on the treo, but I have had plenty of blown earpiece speakers, if you have insurance they will usually take care of it if not they'll charge you. Also, Just in case, you wouldn't happen to have a bluetooth headset paired with it would you?

no... but i don't have insurance. i bought it online. from ebay, brand new. it just stopped working. so i have to use the speakerphone option to actually hear the person i'm talking to...

Who's your carrier? I know Sprint would probably replace your 650 with another one for a fee of $55 since you don't have insurance. And as suggested by Fatal99, a headset (bluetooth or wired) would probably be a better alternative until you can get this problem fixed.
