hi

im trying to flash two dead nokia 8310's in phoenix.....it saves my settings, then gets up to about 25% then gives the error:

Unable to get error message
HRESULT 0x86010332 (-2046753998)

itried using another hardisk that i'd just installed windows 2000 (with sp4) on and got another error message:

phoenix error:
flash: bootstrap file not found

does anybody know how to counter this problem?

Thats your problem, if the phone is dead, you can NOT save the settings off of it, just flash it and when it asks you to save settings, choose NO. it should be fine.

ive tried choosing NO to saving the settings and just flashing the phone...i still get the same error message....
