i cant find a transflash plug on my computer. i have USB, smartmedia/xd, MMC/SC, Memory STick/Pro, CompactFlash I/II.

You will need to get an external reader as Transflash/Micro SD hasn't quite become "standard" yet. I got mine from Best Buy for $15 or so.

your TF should have come with a SD adapter... but even then your USD doesnt read SD either? (at least you didnt list it?)

yeah i have a MMC/SD. but can i put stuff on the transflash by hooking it up to the phone? like can i use it to act like a hard drive?

yes you can do that as well but from my experience its a lot slower
