i am using a v3 and i am with rogers, i have changed the cl.gif image on the phone however the "Rogers" text still shows up on the external display when the phone is flipped open.

Is there a different method of going about changing the cl.gif image.

Yup there's more to it, and searching the Motorola forum here for "cl.gif" returns many hits, including a VERY detailed thread on how to accomplish this.

Had you searched first, you wouldn't have had to ask...

I am with Rogers, and tried for weeks, I came across a post here, that worked perfect, I agree do a search its out there, I know there is way too much info, but modding takes time, ask me how i know, if i could find it for you i would .no pain no gain!
