V3 razr... getting info on outter LCD

I was wondering if there is any way that i can get contact info (like name or #) on the outer LCD when i get a TXT msg from them. Sometimes i am not able to open the phone to check who it is from and would like to be able to see that info on the outside LCD. Anyone know how this can be done or have a link that says how to do it?
