does anyone know where i can get themes for n73 from, it doesnt support n80 themes

These themes wil work on the N73. I own a N73 and have tried a few themes from there and they all worked.

I just got my new Nokia N73 (Vodafone UK) and am very happy with it.

My query is that I am looking for a basic/simple theme such as either White, Black, Grey or Silver.

I have found many on the web but they all seem to fail in one single but important thing: the 24hr digital clock feature is always designed with a 'glowing' or 'luminous' effect, which makes each digit appear close together and subsequently difficult to read. Am I making sense?

Does anyone know where I can obtain a Theme which has a simple 24hr clock in basic text?

Any help appreciated

try Mobile9 N73 Themes and search for black. Should have a couple.

They will. I downloaded a few themes from the link I posted and they all worked on my N73.

Not sure about anyone else, but my N73 will only allow a total of 19 themes on the phone and memory card. When I add a new theme, the phone automatically drops one off the list without notification. Weird! Never had this issue with my N70.

I had over 100 themes on my N70. Yes, 19 is insufficent!!! :>) Why have a 2 GB card if I can't load it up with waht I want??

Got tons of that stuff as well.......point being, why would nokia want to limit anything that someone would want to have on the memory card?? I think it must be a glitch in their firmware.

19 sounds like enough for me as long as songs and pics are limited to card capacity only

So far there doesn't seem to be a limit on the pics or music. I have my card loaded at 700 MB of songs, pics, and videos. I love the MP3 player! :>)

if you setup a free account on www.symbianthemes.com and select any s60v3 device (i have N80 set as mine, but have emailed them to add the N73 and N93), it'll show you only themes available and compatible for that device. I downloaded a few for my N73 last night and installed no problems.

listen everybody nokia n73 does not support .sis files.it does not support .sis games,sis applications nothing of sis only.jar also nokia n73 does not support 2gb memory stick it glitches only 1gb works so if u hav problems with ur phone and u hav a 2gb memory stick thats why it acts like that

My super dumb question - on my N73, everytime I download a Symbian theme for S60 v3 I get the error message after downloading ".sis file not supported" and then the file disappears. What gives? Am I doing something dumb? I get this on both the wap and the webb browsers.

it will only gives you that error unless the themes aren't really meant for N73....

Here's a question. When I try to download a theme from wap.mobile9.com, it says file is too large. I also tried from N73's web browser using the http site. Still can't do it. Is it my settings? I can download easy with my SEw810i but my Nokia N73, can't do it.

Here's another one, accessing the http://wap.mobile9.com-site on my N73 to download themes, gives me the error message stating "Web: unsupported content type". What does that mean, can someone help explaining HOW to download those themes, cos they look great.

Download smaller themes? I tried everything you guys did, and got the same error. Why don't you just download them to your PC and install them with PC Suite like everyone else? There's only 22 pages of themes for the N73 on mobile9.com, so I really don't see how you can want to change themes several times a day when you're away from your computer.

Installing via pc suite or BT is the best way,i dont do wap anymore as i get charged for it now

Hey,

I have an N73 and i'm one of these people who love to put new themes on there phone, when i download themes onto my N73 and install them, it comes up with a msg which says its wasnt installed (as if it was incompatible or something) and to contact the theme creator?? Any idea y this is happening and is it true that Nokia N73 on vodafone you cant download new themes (i read it somewhere lol)

Also... could you send me some links to websites which themes will work on my phone?
