Help for my treasured Vader

I'm in panic mode. I am addicted to my Vader (V8160) and don't want a new sexy, multifunctional phone. (There's even a spare Vader waiting in my desk drawer.) I finally had a brittle fracture on the hinge tonight and it cannot be fixed.

However, I've been warned by both Verizon and Alltel (I'm a dual NAM girl) that this phone is no longer "supported" and that they cannot activate another Vader. Is there any way to massage the settings myself and transfer to the new unit on my own?

Would appreciate any help. Am heavily invested in chargers, spare batteries...i.e. the whole nine yards. I love this phone! There's no other "form factor" out there that comes close.

You could try to swap the mainboards between the two phones. This would keep your same options, phonebook, etc. but in the spare phones body (with the new hinge).
