Wait a minute, could it be that the sidekick 3 doesnt support movie playback?

Umm, Im a newb with these sidekick phones, and I walked into a t-mobile store last week and switched to the sidekick 3 from a Treo 650. Even though some may say thats a downgrade, I love the SK3 because I message more than anything else.

Right now I was just getting ready to add a few videos to my memory card but it seems to not work. Ive added the videos onto the sidekick, but they dont show up on the sidekick. So I decided to search about how to add movies, and I cant seem to find anything about it.

So could it be that it doesnt support video playback? I would be very dissapointed if this is true. Even a razr supports video playback. How do I pay $380 for a phone that has a miniSD slot but doesnt support video playback. I hope to god I'm doing something wrong because I dont see why Danger wouldnt put video playback on this phone, they have no reason not to.

Im still happy with the phone, but I hope im doing something wrong. Please fill me in about this.

Thanks.

Well I read the user manual for The Sidekick 3 and it does not mention anything about videos.. I could be wrong though.

OMG!! Congrats on your new purchase but you seriously need to do research before buying your future devices. It is well known that it does not support video playback or capture.

Yah, beleive me I did major extensive research before buying the phone. I guess I might have looked over the part where it said there is no video playback. Oh well, it's still a messaging king, and thats what I do most, so I cant complain.

Thanx.

All of you who've posted wait for the OTA Update and you'll see, DON'T ASK ME WHEN EITHER

Before I bought my SK3 I read tons of reviews online and one of the big name review sites mentioned that the phone doesn't support video (yet). The fact that they said "yet" sounds like they may have had some inside info about video support coming later on. Of course, it could be complete crap too.
