P900 problem

for some reason my p900 sent all my 'sent' texts to my contacts in one go,one contact received twenty five in a row,another who was abroad received ten old messages.Sometimes the texts I send,don't send,although the phone says they have sent.Is this a phone problem,is it possibly a virus problem.The phone is on orange and is on a prepay plan.
Also,the device lock seems to have disappeared,and I cannot reactivate it.
Memory cards,what is the largest capacity the phone will recognise?
