Best Slim phone to buy--Cingular So. Cal

I have been looking at the L6, and have read the thread containing the how-to on how to turn it into quad band, but I was just wondering if anyone else has any other good suggestions for a slim phone--not a razr. I have a v551 right now and like it a lot, and have been a clamshell user since I retired my nokia 5150, but I seem to be quite attracted to the l6.

It seems that all the l6's out there that can be purchased are in fact euro phones--with text messaging still work here--basically I just want to know if there is a more practical slim phone that someone may be able to suggest to me.

Maybe it's too similar to the RAZR (which is, by the way, a quite poor phone, I agree, everyone I know who has one loved it for the first week or two, and has hated it since!), but the L7 (aka SLVR) seems like it'd be pretty good. A few of my friends have them, and they all love them so far. Many of these people are the same ones who hated their RAZRs, so Motorola must have done something right this time around.

I would take a look at the D807. It's so solid, and the UI is better than any moto. Its very slim too, almost razr like.

There is the Moto L2. It is pretty slim at 10mm thick. I have had one for a few weeks, and it's got the basics done well. It has Bluetooth, but I haven't gotten around to trying that out.
