Yes, I do know how search works, but here is the problem for using the VX8300 guide... there is no UI folder available. Does anyone know the subdirectory flash wallpapers go into for the VX8500 (Chocolate) phones? Do they have to be a certain name, should they be packaged into a file (BAR, MIF, MOD) or something along those lines?

.GIFs are close, but won't work the same as a .SWF file. You can't have random frames or actionscript in a .GIF file.. plus, because SWF is vector-based instead of rasterized, it can be smaller and has better animation.

there is no way possible to get custom flash wallpapers on this phone, short of interrogating a Verizon Developer to show you which exact file is the container for the two flash wallpapers, you will never find them.. Over on the VZW > LG forum we have been working on this for weeks now, and no one can figure out where these files are stored. They are not .swf, .flv, .fll files...as far as the extension goes (which is not to say that they arent actually .swf files with their headers removed and extensions changed in the HEX or actual code)...

Either way, it's impossible to find.
