I have a Motorola V325

I have had the phone for about a month

I downloaded Black Cube skin off of Gocelluar.org

and I transfered the Black Cube folder into my Themes folder and then went onto my phone maually and went to Tools- Themes and clicked on Black Cube and it said Theme Changed

Now whenever i click on menu it flashing a white screen for a half a second not allowing me to acess my menu which has contact lists, get it now, etc now my ringtones dont work for anyone calling and for everyone who calls they get a default ringer.

The only thing i can do is make and recieve calls

So i messed around trying to fix it but it didnt do anything

so i deleted the Black cube folder off of my cell phone all togehtter hoping my phones skin would become default again but it didnt help at all

can someone please help me resolze this problem????

Did you set it to the default theme (or some other theme that wasn't deleted)? Restart the phone.

You may be screwed.

This is a shot in the dark, but maybe you can try this. Go through the 'motions' of accessing the Themes menu and setting it back to default. In other words, hit all the key strokes you need to get to the Themes menu as if you could actually see what you were doing. Like I said, it's a shot in the dark.

OK (menu)
right arrow twice (tools menu)
3 (display menu)
down arrow twice (Themes)
OK
right soft key (select. Default should be highlighted already)

If nothing changes right away, turn off the phone and pull the battery.

Or, you could try and "play dumb" and go to a Verizon store and say you dropped it and now it does this. What the hell.

By the way, in case you didn't guess by now (!), there are no 3rd party themes for the v325. In fact, I don't think there are any 3rd party themes for ANY Verizon UI phone. (Anyone want to confirm that for me?) That theme wasn't meant for your phone and that's why you are hosed.

i guess im screwed

i was thinking about going to verizon and doing that because i have only had the phone for about a month

or i was thinking what if i acess the Black Cube folder i made on my computer and copied the default theme files and copied them into the Black Cube folder giving the black cube folder the default files thats the only thing i think i can try

thanks for all your help eveyrone

You can TRY... the instructions posted in -> http://howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=953517

they have worked for others...

Problem is.. phones with the Verizon UI (like the V325 and V3C/V3M) do NOT support SKINS!!

and the non-verizon versions (like the Alltel V3C), or the Moto UI phones (like the Verizon E815...) use DIFFERNT skins than the GSM phones!!

You can also use P2KCommander, see what skin folders are there.. if you have a MOTO folder, copy it to your PC, then COPY it into that bad skin folder.. and restart your phone...

Heres how i fixed the same exact problem guys.
I have the motorola v325 and also installed a skin and bricked my phone. Luckly it only took me a couple hours to find a fix.But be aware that YOU WILL lose all the info on your phone like address book and stuff. here is the fix
Install all your drivers and connect your phone. download and install smartmoto>>
ftp://smartmoto@tormented.no-ip.org/SmartMoto.rar
After its extracted and installed you need to run the smartmoto.exe
when it loads up if it dont find the phone select "search" near the top of the program
if it still dont find your phone use the driver tool and reinstall the drivers and try again
after the phone is found select "service" from the menu on the left side of smartmoto.
simply select "master reset" and in a couple seconds your phone is fixed

I think any program that lets you do a master reset will get it for you....These are nice when you cannot get into your menus....
