I'm trying to transfer my contacts from my Sony P910 (Symbian) to my Benq P50 (WM 2003)
Since ALL my contacts on the Sony were stored on the phone, i had to copy each of the 200 contacts one by one onto the SIM. Problem is, I could only fit half of the contacts onto the SIM.
So I did and transfered them onto the new device.
How the hell am i going to get the rest of the contacts onto the new device.
I need someway to delete all the contacts off of the sim in one large batch, instead of one by one. That way I can put the SIM back in the SONY and copy them over to the SIM again.
Anyone have a good solution, I would be in debt to you.

Use an exchange server.

surely someone must know a simple way to delete multiple sim contacts. Software possibly? Or even a phone that allows you to delete multiple sim contacts at once. I could go borrow that phone and do it.

side note: how do you like the p50? I'm thinking about getting one.

the P50 is a very good phone.
-battery is sufficient for me so far, however others don't agree
-phone is layed out like the Treo 700w. I like the keyboard on the handheld, not a slide out of flip out
-phone loses calibration of input device (touch screen) not sure why yet.
-has an sd slot but no sd cards work on it.. i've been told you have to use MMC cards even though its an SD slot.. not sure why that is or if that is true.
worth the buy if you can pick it up second hand.

My P50 impressions:
Bad:
- Lack of EDGE was the killer for me.
- Battery life was horrible
- Joystick is terrible
- Screen too small for my taste
- Stylus is too short and stubby - hard to use.
Good:
- Great keyboard
- Great form factor in general
- 320x240 means all apps work, unlike 240x240 Treo 700w and iPAQ hw-series
- Loved the included remote control program - best one I have used
Other notes:
- SD cards work fine - I had no problem with that
- No problems with screen calibration
