Crazy Idea : 8910i in America

Ok, i want it for my use here in America. And im willing to try alot. I have the phone and all ive thought of was changing the antenaa (from a 6310i), but i see problems with that due to the software-firmware on the phone. I know the 8910 was a copy of the 6310, and when they developed the 8910i they had the 6310i in mind, just with a color screen...
Anyone have any ideas, any advice, any disenchanthing news.
