Ericsson Walkman sorting problem

Okay so...say I make a directory under the MP3 folder of the memory stick so it looks like this
MP3 > JUDY AND MARY > BEST COLLECTION -FRESH-
so...I put the entire CD under that folder...how come when I enter the folder using the walkman there are a bunch of other folders and the songs are all split up when the ID3 tags are all exactly the same...it really bothers me...anyone else encounterthis?
