cnn.cn order not received

Anyone know how to get ahold of this company? I've sent 3 emails, 2 via their website, and one via normal email about an order for a K750 housing and no response. Lots of readers said they were a pretty good company to deal with. The worldpay.com email I got the day after I ordered (july 30) said the order was placed, but I haven't heard anything from cnn.cn.

I'd say keep trying, it did take almost 3 days to get a response once, but the resolution
was worth it - denis is a pretty good bloke when you've got a problem, just not always
as quick at responding as we all might like ! Maybe he's taking a vacation ?

I purchased mine using paypal and paid $20 for EMS 4 day shipping. Order was sent to cnn.cn the night of 8/2/06, and I recieved the order on the morning of 8/9/06. I sent one inquiry and recieved a next day response. Fit and finish of K750 backplate is top notch, and worth the wait.

They suck, I ordered a Motorola desktop charger, upon arrival it was scratched and did not work, they sent a replacement for free never showed up but I did get my money refunded.

A few weeks ago I ordered a Motorola RAZR V3 OEM keyboard flex cable. Was delivered as promised and works perfectly.

Maybe it is a hit or miss?

I've ordered from them many a time - mostly moto bits and have never had any problems
that weren't sorted promptly. The longest it's ever taken to respond has been some
days, but that was a vacation.

Just got an email from Dennis....sounds like the screwup on my order was a net problem, or I closed my browser window too soon for the worldpay thingy to port it back to cnn.cn that the order was "paid" so he could ship it. I've sent him the required info, and the order "hopefully" will get shipped. Looks like he was gone for a couple of weeks. I'll repost when I hear back.

Well, it's been another week and still nothing. I'll fire off another email and see what happens. Hopefully I get some resolution, but at this point I doubt I'll be doing business again with cnn.cn Shame, he has a LOT of good stuff, but if it takes a month to receive an order, it's not worth the hassle.

Got another email from cnn.cn monday morning...said he said I didn't tell him what I ordered the last time he emailed, which is a lie. If I EVER get this order, I can tell you one thing, I won't be buying anything from him again. VERY poor service.

Sorry to hear that you had so much trouble with them. As an update to my order, I got my parts already from him. It actually was the quickest yet of all the items I've ordered.

Well, thursday morning, I FINALLY received a tracking number from cnn.cn
for my k750 back cover assembly! Should be here friday.
Only took a month LOL.
Not sure what the screw up is, but at last, the back cover is on its way!!

Well, considering their reputation, it seems like it was miscommunication and not bad service. Many other vendors would have dropped the ball completely.

I agree. I'm not sure what happened, but at least it is on the way.
In one email, Denis said that his website never got an "answer back" from worldpay saying the money part of the transaction had completed, and put a
ok to ship on his site. I use firefox, and have a lot of "ad blocks" added to
cut down on embedded ads, pop ups etc. Not sure if that is what caused the
problem or not, but the next time I order, I'll use IE, just to be on the safe
side.

The 750 back cover arrived friday morning. Took about 15 minutes to
take the 810i back cover off, whittle down the tab on the 750i back cover,
snap on the cover, replace the screws. Cover quality is EXCELLENT.
I'm thinking about using the silver/gray looking middle cover to break up
the black a bit, but don't have time right now.
Anyway, the error, where ever it was, has been corrected, CNN.cn came
through. Thanks Denis!

do you have a link for the silver/gray middle cover? (is that the bit that comes with the full white housing kit?)

edit: also from cnn, should i buy the battery cover+backplate or do i spend the extra bucks and get the full front+back replacement set?

the 750 case that I got came with the front, back, middle, battery cover, and keypad. All for 20 bucks! The middle frame, of the black set, was the silver middle.

I have had trouble getting a reply as well could be that its close to the holiday season. One email was just a general inquiry and the other two have been order related.

I purchased a screw set off them and a few other bits and am very impressed with the quality of the other things but the screws dont seem to be for the phones their advertised for.

The set I ordered was for a w800i/k750i. I didnt look very hard at the photo but upon fitting my new backplate etc I found the inside screws needed to be slightly shorter and there isnt any screws for the backplate under the battery cover at all.

Does anyone know where to get the small screws for the backplate?

OMG I posted that and checked my hotmail and the screws come to me free of charge with my next order that I just placed. I LOVE THIS STORE. The quality is to die for and they have great customer service. Slow response but happy to please from what I can tell and Quality 100%

it's been over 2 weeks now since my item was shipped. i think one of the main problems with this place is that they use the hongkong airmail (or whatever it's called) for some (if not all) of their standard shipping. clearly, this isn't a reliable form of shipment. he'd be better off to charge a little more for shipping and use a different carrier i think... at least when it comes to shipping into the US.

I've ordered from them 4 or 5 times now, and the last time they screwed up my order. A part from a Nokia housing I paid for was NOT included. I've emailed them at info@cnn.cn twice, and sent two messages through their web-based msg. service - and didn't get a response until today.

I got an email from Dennis. Here it is in its entirety:

Hmm... I can't send everything back because I ordered some LCD's (which I've installed on other phones) and another housing (which is also on another phone that's been SOLD). I don't see why I should send back the housing that's missing a part when all I need is ONE PART!!!

I even offered to let them stick the antenna cover in my next order's package. He seemed to ignore that offer. What is this guy's deal? Takes DAYS to reply to an email and when he does it's like he ignored most of it.

Has anyone else had a problem with them? This housing was over $40 and I can't use any of it! (it was a pink nokia 6101 housing - and they left out the antenna cover! - He replied with a 6131 part in his email, but i specifically mentioned the 6101)
wtf. Anyone have any problems with them and how did you fix it?

They would "miss that" he says..

I've sent MORE emails to Dennis Tam (info@cnn.cn) since my last post here. Still no reply. I even asked again if they could put the antenna cover in with my next order - no reply.

What a bunch of crap.

BlueCalx, to be honest, if your first few mails weren’t replied to, its most likely your new ones won’t be as well. I also have noticed their lack of communication through email over these past months, and lately they have stopped replying altogether. For now, what ever reason it may be, I think you should just be patient until they give you a reply; otherwise you’d just be adding more mail to their already filled inboxes.

how long have you ordered it? Did you contacted Paypal to dispute the charge? Did you try to call them instead of email (cnn) ??

if you didnt get it, try going to your local post office and see if they had it there, mine didnt come in twice and i had to go pick it up at the main post office.

You might want to revert the claim with paypal since you got your order...I ordered and got an email of shipment confirmation today. I guess it takes a little patience...but I agree with you, there is clearly a lack of communication/customer service.

I ordered a K750i camera lens housing from cnn about two weeks ago and I just received it today. not too bad considering how far the package had to travel.

on a side note: I love the new look of my w810i.

I ordered a k750 back plate over 2 weeks ago. After the first week I emailed them (via there website). I had noticed that under my orders or my account it said "on hold". He was quick to reply and said sorry for the system error and he would ship the item that day. Still no item or update on status of "my order" and no response to my last mail to confirm that the item was sent. So until then

Ill post my results soon.

Bad customer service thus far...

An update: I filed a complaint with paypal a couple days ago, and Dennis responded yesterday. yay...

He said to ship the incomplete housing back for a refund. So it goes off to China today. $43 for a housing I paid - and now have to pay god knows what to ship it to China. Probably another $5 or so...

Why the heck couldn't he just put it in the next order? what a whackjob

When I ordered my first k750i cover last year, it took 3 weeks to get here (Edmonton, Alberta). Just placed an other order for the k750i cover for my wife yesterday. We'll see how it goes this time.

Wow... I filed a dispute with paypal over a week ago, and cnn.cn said to ship the housing back to them. I did so 2/24/07, and I posted yesterday with paypal that I believe they should have received the housing - and asked when I could expect the refund (which was only like $42) - then I got this email!

This is very upsetting... I can't believe they would go to this trouble to keep me from getting a refund - and to go as far as sending an intercompany memo or whatever that I'm a scammer! Ha! I pride myself on my honesty.. What's the deal with these people?!

I'm ****** pissed

They did give me a refund - but reluctantly - and through a paypal dispute...

If you have a problem with your order, you'll end up wishing you'd never heard of this company...

I had no problems with ordering from them, but that was a year ago.

Now I'm hesitant to deal with this company because of some botched up transactions that are similar to what others have stated in the previous posts. It seems that this company just went downhill. I don't know why, maybe because of high contacts customers questions/complaints, IDK. Even their Live Support seems to always be offline. I guess they just became another one of those eBay sellers who get their supplies shipped overseas, so it's going to be a hit or miss if you receive the item or not. And if you do receive it, there might be some missing parts to make the order useless. I actually prefer dealing with 2 or 3 known eBay sellers because I've dealt with them before and they have been on target with delivery and CS.
