does the 8125 have a firewall on it? if so how do you disalbe it? because i s setup an 8125 for a customer but cannot get it to connect to his wifi at his office. i even tried mine and it didn't work. i spent about 45 minutes on the phone with linksys and we checked all the settings and still couldn't get it to work. so they said it was probably a firewall on the 8125. anyone got an idea?

up date the rom on it from the HTC web site.

it has the latest firmware, i compared it with mine which has the older version

I don't believe it has a firewall on it. I got mine last week and it connected to my linksys router with no problem. I have WEP encryption on my router and I was still able to connect. Maybe the router is encryted.

did you try taking off the cingular proxy mine didnt work either with my g router (netgear) intill i turned it off now it works fine

What model of Linksys is it? If its one of the MIMO routers, good luck I've had nothing but problems.
