Treo 600 vs. Treo 650 charging?

This just ran across my mind. When I had my Palm Treo 600, it charged via USB with no other power cable. Yet when I upgraded to the Treo 650, I had to have USB and AC. Is everyone's like that or is it me? What gives?

Everyone's like that. Palm likes to change the connector style on each new model for some reason.

plus, 650 still charges through USB, at a very very slow speed though.

If you want to, try to connect your 650 to the stock usb cable without AC adaptor on before you go to bed. You will be surprised

When you plug in the USB sync cable, there won't be a light or the charging icons on the Treo, but it will still charge (very, very, very slowly). I once left my USB cable plugged in overnight and it charged the battery a bit (can't remember how much).

Yes, the current is too low to be consided as "pluged-in", thus no charge LED.

I tried once, charged my battery from 45% to full in one night. Just want to see if it works. lol
