What do i need to do? Do i need to reset it or anything?

yeah youll need to do a user flash and master flash it all simple and will clear out your info on the device.
1) from jump screen goto menu>settings>system info
2) while on sys info press and hold menu+shift then tap X(it will ask to erase user flash) hit erase
3) youll be back at sys info now press menu+shift and tap R (it will ask to erase sign in info) this clears out you user account
4) perform a hard reset with the pin hole behind the screenand thats all it will be ready to go and will make my job easier when whoever you sell it to calls in to tmo tech support to register the device to them.

sk3 is a lil different its a lil more complex but here is the procedure
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PERFORMING PROCEDURE

1) perform a soft reset by pressing @+1+0

2) as soon as the screen goes blank press and hold down "R"

3) continue holding "R" as device reboots untill you see the four square icons appear onscreen during boot process as soon as they do release the "R" key

4) if this was done correctly device should finish boot then reboot again or reboot imedately after releasing the "R" key but after the second boot device will be cleared out completely for a new user.
