The sound on my treo is not working but its not on mute?

I was playing my treo throught my car stearo play MP3's and then I had a incoming call and I answered it but I I couldn't hear them and they couldn't here me. So I checked the volume control but it says its on full.

???

I went to tryed to test out one of phones ringtones and it worked but i cant get anything sound to play on it?? I did blow the specker? Is there something that mutes the sound that I dont know of? I would appreaciate the help.

Were you using PTune and freedom? If so, try to load Ptune again, then do a reset.

No I have Ringo. So Should I delete and reload?

Also If I reset will I lose all my info?

Plug a headset into your treo and see if it works. You might have a problem with your headset jack.

Yeah thats the thing, I tried that it sound works fine, but like I said why isnt projecting through the speaker?

I found that out when I took my 700p to the sprint store for an exchange with the same problem. I found out afterwards that it's a common problem with Treo's. Try plugging your headset jack in and out slowly a couple of times. If you do a search on google or treocentral about it, there's a "fix" for it. Otherwise, get an exchange.
