How to play Music files in the background!! while using normal fuctions on the or ².

While your music is playing in the E-mail app or playing a preview in the Catalog app, press + + (any jump shortcut letter, except for the "playing" app). Relese the shorcut letter, THEN release the & keys AT THE SAME TIME.

Following the steps correctly should jump you to the other application or the jump menu while still playing your music. Jumping back to the e-mail/catalog app should not interupt your selection from playing. Simply jump to your "Email" application to turn off your music or to select another one. The above step is required again if you do just that.

At beggining of the message type *noti# in the message body followed by the message and it will send a delivery report. So the message will look as follows:
*noti# this is a test

and what is recieved is this:

message for 15551231234, with identification 040514123333 has been delivered on 2004-05-14 at 12:33:35.

Web Browser Tips & Tricks

Shortcut Keys~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Avoiding "Out of Memory" Errors while using Javascript-Heavy Web Pages

A few things that may help:

1) set e-mail to "view headings only" (this offloads e-mail text from the device to the server, thus saving memory)

2) empty "trash" from as many apps as you can

3) clean out un-needed data (old e-mails you don't need to save, old pics you can offload to photobucket or an e-mail account)

4) uninstall seldom used apps (these, under 2.3, can be re-installed later as needed)

5) soft-reset device (this can clear out memory of unneeded stuff)

6) clear cache & history in browser app (if you clear "cookies", all your previously saved passwords and web site settings will be removed)

7) turn graphics off in browser app (this removed graphics while allowing more memory)

If all else fails, consider turning off javascript and re-loading the page. Many pages work fine or mostly fine without it (though you may lose some functionality)

To use it, email the URL to: topdog@cowdog.com, with a subject line of 'fetch source' (leave off the quotes). Put the complete URL in the body of the email message. Right now it only works for pages ending in .htm or .html. Your email has to originate from a tmail.com or a fido address. Don't worry, "top dog" will not spam you or share your address with anyone!
