Razr screen just died!

Hey guys!

I've had a Razr for a yr now (which invalidates the warranty).. It had been working fine for me until this morning.. The screen just stopped working. Nothing happened to dictate such behaviour (no drop.. water, etc). Just like that!

I opened the phone up to check the connections, and they seem fine. The phone still makes noises (bootup and stuff).. but otherwise is not usable (no screen!)

So what are my choices?

Reflash with a mp and if that don't work then you realy have a screen failure, $30 will get you a new screen

Opt for the $30...it's much easier

The screen stopped working or the phone, does the phone still make calls etc. if it still does then its most likely you need new LCD

i had that problem on a friend v3 i open it ancd clean the lcd connection aparently there was dust on it and that cause it not to display

I'm having the exact same problem with my V3. It's never been abused, has never taken a bath or gotten wet, and is about a year old now. This morning I woke up to an incoming call and the screen was black - I can still answer incoming calls and check voicemail, but there's absolutely no display whatsoever. Thanks in advance.
