What is up with Samsung producing a bunch of entry level phones that all look the same?

I have to admit that I am sad to see where Samsung is in the Cingular lineup. The only noteworthy device is the SGH-D807. The ZX10/20 and low end flips are very uninspired. I am waiting for devices such as the E317, S307 and P207 to come and make the lineup exciting again. Their small form factors, great-for-their time displays, and of course, the multi-colored Samsung LED. Why are they releasing this uninspired crap now? Please Samsung, release a TRUE successor to the P207...Something sexy, something well built, something feature loaded, and be DAMN sure to include that rainbow LED!
