w900 / w810 memory cards, 4gb?

Ive seen it mentioned that some are using 4gb memory cards with these phones.
have you had any problems other than battery life?
all the specs say 2gb is the biggest you can use.. so i was curious...

specs say that because when the phones came out the 2gb were the biggest available i beleive 8 gig is coming out eventually,
As long as you get an ultra II, Extreme III or a real sony highspeed, there shouldnt be too much of a difference between 2gb and 4gn cards

like mentioned above, they were made before the 4gb was released, but they work fine in all the Walkman series phones...

went from a sony highspeed 2gb to an ultra II 4gb and theres been no problems.. battery life seems to have improved slightly if anything.

help anyone.. my fon (black Vodafone branded w900i) is sluggish and hanging frequently after ive upgraded to a 2gb card.. dunno if the problem is with the firmware im using right now or whatever it is.. btw im using the HIGH SPEED 2gb card by SONY..

I have no loss of battery life whatsoever with my 4GB card.

dont try to use 2 gig with w900, it'll lag the phone to the max. i tried with the 1 gig and now its fine
