705sh is still locked.

Thus if you're still waiting for 904sh to be unlocked, then 705sh is still out of reach at present time

Can't compare with 903sh tho, since 903sh is already unlocked and usable now

705SH is closer to an unlock due to the fact the equivalent will be released on SmarTone-Vodafone in Hong Kong, 904SH 's unlock is a bit further away imo.

im using a 903, bought it about a year ago still loving it!! Havent looked at any other phone ever since. If u cant wait and can still find 903 somewhere to buy then i would for sure recommend it!

for sure 903 is a damn sexy phone still!

however, if you are willing to wait for the 904 unlock there is also the 804 which will be damn cheap when the 705 and 904 are unlocked.

i know what u mean about 903 but its EVERYWHERE... so if i do get it i would get a white one which is "water" product in HK and i don't really trust it..

903 isnt really everywhere. as soon as these newer ones are unlocked... they're gonna be everywhere.

Quick question about the 705sh:

The Sx633 that SmarTone-Vodafone is releasing is the same one as the 705sh in Japan, right? It's not the watered down 770sh that was released for Europe, right?

In Hong Kong they are. They might be expensive, but they are still "everywhere" - having said that, if you read the other threads, Smartone-Vodafone pulled the SX833 from their website, but a lot of the models I have seen (Especially in Mongkok) are Jap versions anyway.

I'm sorry, but you should get a 705SH if you live in HK (in that case, it will be the SX633). This is because the 705SH/SX633 in HK is unlocked.

What do you mean by you don't trust it because it's a "water" product?

All the 903SH in HK are water goods... unless you get the HK version SX833... I think a lot of people misunderstood the term "water goods"... basically they're just products that imported into HK illegitimately... a lot of times, the water good version may be even better than the local version, depending where it came from...

stealthy, I'm not paying HK$2880 outright for the SX633 - also the SX633 is different to 705SH hardware wise, I prefer the Japanese 705SH... and besides I am waiting for the 904SH, not the 705SH.

Another thing, I am pretty sure the guys at the Smartone-Vodafone store have codes rather than cables and the whole unlock box job.

My point was, to say that the 903SH is still floating around.
