I need some help on using bt to transfer files between phone and pc.
I have paired the phone and pc and transferred files from the pc to phone. However when trying to go from phone to pc it does not work. It just says something (forgot what it was) failed.
I'm using a Kensington bt usb adapter 2.0 on my laptop.
Any help on making this work would be appreciated.

I guess know one knows. Oh well it was worth a try.

I initially had problems sending files to the phone. It turns out the first file I tried to send the phone just did not like the file name.
I renamed the file to something shorter and simpler and it transferred fine.
Try changing the file name and sending again.

Thanks for the reply.
However that didn't seem to work. It just seems odd that it is only a one way transfer.

Wirelessly posted (Nokia6682/2.0 (4.65.0) SymbianOS/8.0 Series60/2.6 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)
Had the same problem using the standard windows bt stack its a wierd bug but the only Work around is to use the file transfer software that came with your bt device or look 4 the lg pc software from the uk lg site its a crappy app but you can get the files from your phone to the laptop. I am on vacation but if you cant find it pm me on wed of next week and i will give you the link.

Thanks Blumoto for the reply.
I bought a Kensington bluetooth usb adapter 2.0. It's a doogle that connects to my laptop via usb. It came with software. Now...is it using the windows bt or it's own. I'm really not sure.

most likely you are using the ms bt, the software that came with the device just might be a driver but check the device disk and see if you have any flie transfer software that will work, also try lg mobile uk to see if you can find their pc suite that will def. work(it is sort of like nokia's but alot worse), I can't remember offhand what it was called but it is direct from lg's uk mobile site under software

My buetooth came with WIDCOMM software. I'm not sure it has it's own drivers or is using Microsoft.
I have tried to find the pc suite, but no luck.
