Cingular 8125 Disconnecting In Calls

Lately my Cingular 8125 will just cut out in the middle of a call and my bars will dissapear and turn to X.

I used the Edge network to connect to the internet, and I think the disconnect is caused by AgileMessenger running in the background, and trying to receive or check for messages while on the phone. Because I know if I am on the phone I cannot connect to the internet, and whenever I use the phone it disconnects me from the internet.

I only seem to have the problem when Agile Messenger is running.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this with their 8125s, or if you have any insight on the problem. Thanks

i think its the phone trying to grab edge network while on a call. i hear if you hit or hold down the END key it causes the phone to stop network searching and jump back on cingular.

Happens to me occasionally as well.

I have Agile installed, but it seems to occur even if the program is not running. I wonder if it will still occur if I uninstall...

Agile Messenger and also Pocket Weather are known to cause this, maybe a few other apps too.
