the green light is on, but the battery says it has 21% charge and isn't changing.

do i leave it in and let it trickle charge until it reaches 100%?

the battery manual says 3-4 hours, but it's been 21% for an hour.

Which cable did you plug into your Treo? The battery won't charge very fast by only using the USB sync cable... you'll need to use the AC adapter.

I used the AC wall charger. I asked for a new battery from the ebay seller. Good thing she's about 1 hour away.

Something else to try is called an "in-cradle reset." (It's really just a soft reset with the charger plugged in, but earlier rechargeable Palms charged in the sync cradle.) An "in-cradle reset" will reset the charge circuit.

I tried that. I should have done that before buying a new battery though. My old battery is working ok now, but stilldoesn't last as long as it use to.

They said I should be expecting a new battery in the mail. They don't need me to send the first battery. Something tells me they have a lot of defective or old batteries.

Anyone want the battery I couldn't charge for free? Maybe you can charge it with a special remote control peak charger?
