(Posted Again because I started this in the wrong Forum & its locked)

I wrote a thread in Nokia explaining my 6682 BT Issue.

Link to That Thread

Since My Cingular store doesn't have one to swap out anymore I'm looking for a substitute.

I want a phone that:

Has good RF, Loud, MP3 Player capibility, and I can Use My BT Headset With:

I live in Chicago and these look to be my options:

RAZR V3

SLVR L7

LG CU500

Samgsung D807

I'm leaning towards the CU500 or the D807 but I won't be needing the 3G for the LG and the D807 I've heard has low earpiece volume.

What do you guys think?

TIA!!!

Also somebody suggested getting the W810i but:

Does anyone know when the w810i is going to be released by Cingular?

That does seem to be the "perfect phone" for me, but in my 2 year contract, I am already passing 60 days. (Well past the "Trial Phase")

My friend works for Cingular, but looks like he is going to be leaving the company soon (looks like less than a week).

He's willing to swap out my 6682, but since he doesn't have another 6682, I'm left with what's left on the website in such a short time frame.

I've been reading some comments in the cu500 threads, and it looks somewhat promising, but the features that it does the best with (3G) I won't be using.

What would you guys do?

TIA!!!

are you talking about switching your phone at the store or xbm'ing it? Either way, i would try and wait for the w810, it's the best out the bunch. Dont expect it in the next week though but towards the end of next month could be a possibility

I can only do a store exchange, and since I am so deep in contract (just past 60 days) it looks like I can only have time to swap with what's available.

I think the CU500 is the best of what's available, but I haven't tried it out.

(3g is nice, but I won't be using that at all and believe me, if the w810i was available, that would be the automatic winner)

RF, volume, reliability, BT, and MP3s is what I'm basing my criteria on.

I'm not sure if the CU500 is the best based on that or not, which is why I'm looking for help.

between the cu500 and the d807, i would say the cu500 is better of the two. A lot of people have complained about how the d807 has a really low earpiece.

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: LG-CU500 Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

The cu 500 is your best bet.

Will the LG CU500 work in a non 3G area or do you have to be in a market where it's active? Will they sell me one if they don't have it on in my area yet??

I'm using mine in a non-3G area and the medianet is quicker on it than other Edge phones I've had. Faster than the W600 which I thought was my fastest one at the time.

Yea, I would say go with the Cu500. I am using mine in Minneapolis. I just have a media net plan and it works great. Its alot speedier then my V3i D&G. Not to mention the earpiece is the loudest earpiece I have ever had on a phone. It basically blows my eardrum out when I am talking especially when I have to hear my ringback tone when wiating for voicemail.

the Cu500 is a awesome phone!
