I've got a Sidekick 2 and I'm really disappointed with the upgrades they put in for the Sidekick 3. Disappointed enough to call it quits with Danger and look for a new phone.

I regularly use texting, instant messaging, e-mail and rarely use the web browser because its soooo slow to browse. I do like the idea of being able to pick and choose programs that go on my phone, possibly playing music (though I've got an ipod so I don't see much use in that on a phone), choosing my own backgrounds/splash screens and getting e-mail to my phone. I have T-Mobile as a carrier and I'm out of contract.

I read reviews of the Treo 650 and 700 and didn't see anything said about instant messaging or how it handles it. The MDA looked feesible for the things I wanted to use it for, but its really new so I need to do some research on it.

Is there another phone out there that would work for what I want? Battery life is also important to me, my Sidekick 2 lasts about 20 hours (minimal use) before it needs a charge. I know thats horrible battery life in cell phone terms so a change would be nice.

Help me decide please
