I guess I got pretty lucky... I was on my 4th w600i due to various problems and when I requested the CU500 Warranty Services mailed it out yesterday. They offered me a D807 and a SLVR, but I went with the CU500. did I get the best they would have given me?

Thanks- now I just hope they don't consider my w600i out of warranty. Dropped it once and got a nick on the corner. They did tell me on the phone though that it would have to be in "really bad shape" for them to charge me the $215.

I guess if worse comes to worse and I'm out $215 I can just ebay the CU500 and use my old motorola for a while.... I just hope they don't screw me over.

you should be fine, i think they'll only charge you if the phone will come in horrible shape such as something wrong with the screen or a whole part broken or missing. Minor scratches and nicks are fine. Hope you enjoy your new cu500, im still using my w600, it has some problems but ones i can live with so im still holding off the xbm'ing for now

Yeah I really liked the w600i, I got fed up with buttons pushing in my pocket but that was before I found the auto lock feature, lol.

I just got tired of sending them back, my first one stopped sending texts, the second one got the WSOD right when I plugged it into my PC, and the 3rd one lost signal in the heat. Flip phones are more convenient to me, and it will be an improvement with the CU500 especially because its a lot thinner. w600i was the best I have had to date, though. SE's interface is the best in the business. I hope LG is comprable (never had one before)
