So my GF just got the C300 and is very happy with it. EXCEPT the ringtones and games are all annoying. Does anyone know of any good FREE sites for this phone. I have found that there are limitations such as the lack of Infrared, Bluetooth and Email capabilites...So she is limited to MMS!!!

Any help would be great!

BTW, this phone has been out since last year and just re-named for Cingular ... do a search for PG-3200 and you'll find even red and black versions for those of you that are curious about this phone.

Sorry to go off-topic, but is that the itty-bitty phone?? If so, how is the reception on it? I'm thinking about getting one of these for my niece....

I dont know what types of ringtones it supports, but if you do why dont you make your own and upload them somewhere on the net to download onto the phone ? Im sure the phone has some sort of wap browser.

I found the reception to be below average. Had trouble hanging onto a weak signal where other phones tend to do better. However, I'm in a 1900 MHz dominant area, so your results may be different.

I've been selling lots and lots of those phones, I was pretty suprised of how many I am selling. No complaints yet : )

my college age daugter was looking at that because of the size.
FWIW, people onPhone Scoop seem to love it.

does it have usb, or can you attach a small ringtone to a mms?

I have sent all my favorite ringtons to this phones via MMS. Only one
was too large. It works great.

Browsing is FAST, faster then my v3i. Reception for me is as good as my best phones which are a v3i and my cingular pda phone. I just love it. Totally amazed at the vibrant screen and how loud the ringtones are. Its a great phone.

Reception has been pretty solid ... we are in the Bay Area, CA. It definitely holds onto a signal better than I would've thought (possibly not having an internal antenna in such a small form factor is helping). The ringtones are pretty loud, though the earpiece volume is average at best. The screen is bright and the overall build quality for such a small phone is decent. So far so good...

BTW, to get back on topic - does anyone have any good FREE sites? It does handle polyphonic and mp3 ... the main limitation is that it has to be MMS.

what about the fact that you can't add new words to the T9 when texting. doesn't that bother anyone ?

Wirelessly posted (Walkguru's: LG-CU500 Obigo/WAP2.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Yeah but its still a great little phone.
