Looks like a very nice phone, but it seems like it there are few features on it...

1) Is there IrDA on the phone? or at least a datacable?
2) How is the quality of the RF???

Right now its still to pricey from something so basic, but I'm interesting the model none the less...

1) No and no.
2) As good as you'll find for a phone of any size, let alone one that is so small. If you were to compare with all other phones, it would probably be in the top 5.

i love my gd55....before i had a 8390, t68i, and t66.. this is by far my favorite. i never used any crazy features. as long as its small and good i like it. it gets the best reception out of all of them. i have yet to drop a call. i use it on rogers. the other great thing about it is that i live in an area that picks up a att site...with the other phones it took forever for them to connect back to teh rogers site. sometimes i even had to turn it off then on. with the gd55 it switches right away, with no problems

The price of this phone is dropping from what I noticed, so maybe in a month or two I might buy one. Thanks for your input. Out of all the past phones I've had on Rogers GSM I found that all the ones with external antennas have the best RF. It is logical, but this is the one that looks the best also. I'm still disappointed that it doesn't have any connectivity with computers....!!!!
