I need help...have a V3c from Verizon...read a lot, and did the flash to GATW_01.15.04p from Ry Ry's links. Updated MPT to the latest version, and set it to V3cm. Checked the seem to make sure the box was checked with the Super Dave edition of P2KSeem. I plug the phone in first, then fire up MPT. The phone connects, and am able to get into file transfer. I see my computer files in the left pane, and see my phone pics in the right pane. When I try to copy a pic, I get 'communication link broken by phone'. I have an official motorola USB cable, and 'borrowed' another motorola USB cable from work, and tried it on both, but no luck. I've done the Drivertools.exe trick...any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

what verison of Windows? this error is ususally due to the USBSER.SYS file...

so run this driver tool -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/Files/DriverTool-421a.exe
(with the phone disconnected of course)...

Btw, also make sure you are NOT connected to a USB hub... use a USB port built directly to the motherboard in your PC!

I'm using XP 2nd addition...I ran the driver tool you linked to (I hadn't used this one before) and it works! My neighbor called me and wanted to know why I was screaming! I'm so happy! You are the BEST!
