Well, I'm a long long long time Sprint customer, but I'm trying to size up other services to see what else there might be. Cingular and Verizon would be my possible alternatives, but I have a hard time figuring out exactly how other carriers' data services work (moreso with Cingular).

First and foremost, I'm interested in knowing if there are any GPS apps (non-Smartphone) that are available through Cingular. I've recently become addicted to TeleNav on my Samsung A800 with Sprint, and basically I need this to be available in one form or another from whatever carrier I would switch to.

Also, how does Cingular's data plan work sans Smartphone? Are one of those data plans required in all situations?
