Sean, do a search. I remember someone posting that they were actually networking their P800 off of their home cable system via bluetooth and surfing the net. This was a month or so ago and may have been crap, but he did go into some detail as to how he was networking the phone and the fact he could surf the net without incurring any cost.

Nobody in here seemed to care though, because I didn't get one single reply..

Anyways, I've posted the same "trick" in other forums too, with many replys confirming that it works for them too... http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopi...=16855&forum=16

And it doesn't only work through Bluetooth, but even through IR and USB.

And it works GREAT using Opera!

Wasn't that I didn't care Raven, or I would not have remembered it, just that I still can't get my P800 suite to work properly and connect my phone to the computer and I lacked a bluetooth PC adapter at the time. (Thanks to DaPope, I am now bluetooth enabled) Glad to see it was a member with solid knowledge of the subject matter and now that the "Opera" is in town, I am sure you will be able to answer many members questions about utilizing your discovery.

Thanks to your post, I'm able to connect my P800 to my PC w/a Belkin USB adapter. This is great! Gotta install Opera now and see how that baby works....

Does BT net access work with BT equipped Macs as well or just PCs?

i'm assuming you're using jaguar and some BT mac-compatible dongle. u should connect ok if you've configure jaguar for networking access sharing and that your BT software supports a Network Access profile.

FYI, There is a Win98SE enabled version of the P800 PCSuite software in the works. I'm not sure about the release date though.
